You are cordially invited to the 24th Annual TNT STATE FINALS! This Friday event promises to bring top Competition from throughout our great state. We hope you can come and enjoy a weekend of fun and exciting martial arts competition.
Beginning Friday - Doors Open at 5:00 pm and competition starts at 6:30 pm
Weigh-in - There will be a weigh in area for all combat divisions at 5 pm. If you do not make weight, you will lose your seeding, and move up to your respective weight division as a non-seeded (wild card) competitor.
Seeding and Bracketing - Brackets will be split and start with a run-off "division" composed of all competitors except the #1 Top Ranked seed from each of the North and South. Standard seeding rules apply, i.e., highest rated against lowest rated, second highest vs second lowest, etc. The winner of the run-off will then compete in the "Division Grand Final" with those two first seeds to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winner of the run-off will compete against the lower ranked of the top rank seed from the North and the South. The final two competitors will play the best two out of three matches .
Please Note: TNT- Sport MMA, Grappling (Gi and No Gi) divisions, the #1 top ranked seed (most points), will go last against the winner of the run-off division. Standard seeding rules apply, i.e., highest rated against lowest rated, second highest vs second lowest, etc. The winner of the run-off will then compete in the "Division Grand Final" with the top seed for the division in single elimination.
Sunday Night Finals - Doors open at 6:00 pm and starts at 7 pm - This year’s night finals and ceremony is FREE ADMISSION and open to everyone! Those that wish not to participate in the Sunday night Finals and Ceremony have the option to receive their ring during the day pf the competition.
For our ceremony we will be recognizing and awarding on stage:
-All TKO/TNT State Qualifiers for 2022
-2021 Competitor of the Year "Top Gun"
-Special recognitions awards
-State Championship Ring to all 1st place winners (pictures taken).
For our finals, we will have multiple demonstrations and Black Belt overall Grand Championship for:· Junior Open Forms—Grand Champion (GOLD RING)
· Junior Traditional Forms—Grand Champion (GOLD RING)
· Adult Open Forms—Grand Champion (GOLD RING and $200)
· Adult Traditional—Grand Champion (GOLD RING and $200)
· Adult Women Sparring Grand Champion (GOLD RING and $200)
· 18+ Adult Men Sparring Grand Champion (GOLD and $300)
· 35+ Adult Men Sparring Grand Champion (GOLD and $200)
· Adult Men Team Sparring– All Weight (3 GOLD RING and $300)
Must have at least 2 teams
· Junior Girls Team Sparring--All Rank 11 under, 12-14, 15-17 (3 GOLD RING)
Must have at least 2 teams·
-Junior Boys Team Sparring--All Rank 11 under, 12-14, 15-17 (3 GOLD RING)
Must have at least 2 teams

THIS EVENT WILL HAVE: Sport Karate, Grappling, Sport MMA. Point Sparring, Continuous Sparring. Stick Combat! and Breaking
SCHEDULE: 48 hours prior to the tournament, ring assignments and schedule will be posted on EventsReg.org. We will email competitors with the schedules and times to report to their ring . On the day pf the event, we will also make a courtesy call for you on the microphone to come to the ring if you also haven’t already presented yourself for check in. Please be at the ring on time for your division. We ask that you make sure to be present prior to your division start time, as well in case we are able to get head starts on certain division. In some cases, if you are not present, we will also send you a Text message on your mobile device during the competition to report to your ring.
COMPETITOR: The Thursday before the event, competitor can view their ring assignments on the EventReg,org tournament page. We encourage everyone to check their divisions and their details the day before, and not wait until the day of the event.
CHANGING DIVISIONS: All competitors (or coaches, parents) will have until Monday the week of the event deadline to make any changes to their registrations. You can make these changes by logging into your account and modifying your registration details. After the deadline, the registration will become locked, and there will no further changes allowed.
DIVISION CHANGES: Competitors who do not have anyone in their division group may be moved up in weight to another division. All competitors who remain solo in their divisions once bracketed, will be declared the winner by default. An optional exhibition match will be provided to the solo competitor.
REFUND POLICY: We do not issue refunds on registration done online. Unless we are shut down due to Corvid or any emergency situation beyond our control, a refund will be issued.
WEIGH-INS: Takes place Saturday. You only need to weigh-in once if competing in several divisions. Depending on your schedule of events, you must weigh-in from 8:30-1 pm.. You must have officially weighed in before your division time and have made the weight, or else you will be disqualified. If you do not make weight, you will be moved to the appropriate weight division.
COACH and CROWD CONTROL: For all contact events, a competitor can have only one coach during their match. One chair will be placed on both side of the ring. The only other people allowed within the barricades during the tournament are the competitors.
VIP PASS - For safety of our competitors, staff and referees, we will be setting up barricades. In order to enter the competition area, we will be offering once more “VIP PASS” for those wanting access. VIP PASS will allow you to Coach a team member or player. Assist your child when their division is called. Operating portable sound system PLEASE NOTE: VIP PASS is also a spectator pass. You do not need to purchase a spectator pass. We ask everyone to remain seated in the spectator area until the division is called. Once inside the competition area, there is “NO” standing.
ZERO TOLERANCE - Effective immediately! In order to provide an atmosphere conducive to developing the skills and knowledge of our sport, all of the participants of TKO and TNT League shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. The TKO and TNT League and it's promoters has voted to institute and enforce a zero tolerance policy. Coaches, instructors, players and spectators are not permitted to harass the referee, negatively address coaches of any team or players of any team. Such conduct undermines the referee’s and coach’s authority and can create a hostile environment for everyone attending the TKO and TNT sanctioned events. No one other than a coach is to address the referee during the competition (coaches and instructors are also responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators). MEDALS: Beautiful custom medals will be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place, First place will receive a TKO/TNT Texas State Championship ring!
MEDIC ON HAND: There will be a medic on sight. Only basic medical needs provided.
TV SCOREBOARDS: All rings will have TV monitor to display bracketing and scoreboard.for viewing.
RANKINGS: We track rankings competitors by the Annual Season and by Overall Competitor rankings are categorized by genders, ages, weights, and belt or experience. Team/Dojo rankings are categorized by Team/Dojo points. You can find the rankings on EventReg.org under TKO League Results.
VOLUNTEERS AT THE EVENT: We are always looking for experienced referees, event staff, as well as competitors to help setup! To apply, please email your name, previous experience, and which tournament and date you are wanting to help.
